What is Coffee & Water?

Coffee & Water is a mobile app created to help you with alternative coffee brewing.
App is available for multiple platforms.

What does it do?

It’s simple - you choose:

• how much coffee you want to make,
• which method you plan to use

and the app will:

• suggest the ratio
• calculate how much water you need to use
• estimates how long it’ll take to make the coffee
• generate instructions to make great coffee

Will it guide me?

Yes, the app will guide you through the process.
Once you’re ready and set, just press the Start button and follow thw instructions.

Note: you will need a scale. Phone can’t be used as scale (at least not yet).

What brewing methods are supported?

Currently the app supports:

• V60 Standard
• V60 Better One Cup (based on James Hoffman’s Video - A Better One Cup Technique)
• Chemex
• AeroPress
• French Press

How did you get the instructions and ratios?

The instructions and ratios are an aggregation of different sources, hints from various baristas and our own experiments.

The most helpful source for us was James Hoffmann’s YouTube Channel & Book

Is the App free?

Yes.
The app is completely free to use.

Are there Ads?

No. Zero ads.
We don’t like ads.
